"Take Me Home" is a program designed to ensure the safety of elderly individuals with various types of dementia. This initiative is a free, voluntary, and confidential database, managed and maintained by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. It is specifically available for those within the patrol area of the Harris County Sheriff's Office. The database includes information about individuals with dementia, aiding deputies in responding safely and effectively if law enforcement assistance is needed. Participation in the program is optional, and you can choose to opt out at any time.
